Dive Pools

Every pool in the reef runs on Glow Pearls and nothing else. Open a dive, chase a cascade, close the tab whenever you like — the tokens stay in the water either way.

Main pool

Tide Pool Cascade

An eight-by-eight match-three engine written for this reef. Swap two neighbouring tokens, form a line of three or more, and let gravity trigger the chain. Each cascade layer boosts the release by 55%.

Mechanics breakdown

Reading the board

Four things worth knowing before your first dive.

Swaps are precious

You get 25 per dive. A swap that produces no line is refunded automatically and the tokens drift back into place.

Cascades stack

When cleared tokens collapse into a fresh line, the next layer pays 55% more than the one before it. Deep chains are where the Pearls are.

Long lines add bonuses

Four in a row adds 40 Pearls on top of the per-token release. Five or more adds 110.

The pool never locks

If no workable swap remains, the reef reshuffles itself at no cost. You never lose a dive to a dead board.

Pools in the current

Simulations we are shaping next. All of them will follow the same rules: free entry, virtual tokens, nothing exchangeable.

Live

Tide Pool Cascade

Current Wheel

A slow rotating ring of reef sectors. One pointer, one release, no stakes of any kind.

In the current

Trench Columns

Three vertical trenches drift past a single reading line. Purely decorative outcomes, purely virtual tokens.

In the current

Star Drift

Line up drifting sun stars on a five-lane grid. A gentler pace for longer, quieter sessions.

In the current

Jelly Bloom

A memory-and-pattern pool where drifting jellies reveal matching light signatures.

Ember Garden

Grow a coral branch across a hexagonal field. Slow, tactile and completely free of stakes.

Pool questions

No. The pools open immediately. The Daily Pearls form asks for a nickname and an email only so the panel feels complete — your vault is stored locally in your own browser either way.
Claim the free daily allocation from the header and you are back in the water. There is no other way to obtain Pearls, and nothing to purchase.
Yes. The board scales to the screen and every token is a tap target. Portrait orientation on a mid-size phone is comfortable for the full eight-by-eight grid.
Only time. Glow Pearls are fictional counters with no external value, so nothing beyond your attention is ever committed to a dive.

Twenty-five swaps, one glowing board

Take the daily allocation, run a dive and see where the cascade stops. Then take a break — the pools are not going anywhere.
